About the role

Test Manager – Large-Scale Retail Transformation Programme Role On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced Test Manager for a broad transformation programme within the retail sector. Several processes, ways of working and system solutions will be changed and rolled out in parallel. Responsibilities You will plan, coordinate and lead all testing activities from development through to deployment. Working closely with project management, change management, solution architects, business representatives and external suppliers, you hold overall responsibility for test strategy, test planning, coordination of test resources, and follow-up and reporting of test results. Your tasks include: Developing and maintaining the test strategy and test plans Ensuring that test scope, test cases and test data meet the required quality standard Coordinating system testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing and user acceptance testing Tracking defects, risks and quality indicators, and making sure corrective actions progress in line with the project timeline and quality targets Contributing to more efficient ways of working, processes and tools within testing Building strong collaboration between the business, IT and external suppliers Required skills At least 5 years of experience as a Test Manager in complex IT and business development projects Documented experience of planning and leading system, integration and acceptance testing Experience from large transformation initiatives or implementations of business-critical systems Solid understanding of test methodology, test processes and quality management Experience of requirements management and of working with multiple stakeholder groups Experience with test tools and issue-tracking systems A structured, self-driven approach and a track record of coordinating many dependencies Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English, spoken and written Merits Background in retail, logistics or supply chain-related operations Experience from implementation projects involving several external suppliers ISTQB certification or equivalent Experience of agile and hybrid delivery models Experience of integration platforms or large enterprise system landscapes Personal qualities You are structured, quality-minded and solution-oriented, with the drive to keep work moving forward. You communicate clearly and pedagogically, collaborate well with different kinds of stakeholders, and build trust easily. You thrive in fast-paced, changing environments with many parallel dependencies. Location and remote work Hybrid working is possible, with 2–3 days per week at the office. Visits to Stockholm and Gothenburg will be needed one to two times per month, more frequently around test activities.
